30 September, 2008
Leading Indian car manufacturer Tata Motors are in news again with the launch of high-end variants to its Indigo CS from the sedan segment. Petrol version of GLX model and two diesel LX models - in turbo-charged diesel with intercooler and DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) engine options are the new addition to the model.

Tata Indigo CS was introduced in 2008 Auto Expo and recorded positive sales of 4,400 units per month, which is above 84 per cent growth this fiscal. As the launch is in advance of the imminent festival season, the auto makers are looking forward to improve their sales after experiencing a dip.

The new series of variants will fall into the price range of between Rs 4.08 lakh and Rs 5.10 lakh.
