Car navigation system by Volvo

30 June, 2008
Renowned luxury car maker Volvo Car India has come up with a new product that will offer a hassle free drive to unfamiliar destinations. Road Traffic Information or RTI is a navigation system that will make driving easy for those who have a poor road sense.

All the information is stored in a hard disk of the car which guides the driver to the defined location through satellite system. This navigation system will be in market with an additional cost of Rs 1.5 lakh. RTI plays as a vital infotainment feature in Volvo cars globally and now it has been introduced to India too.

Currently Volvo XC90, S80 and C70 are on the Indian roads and now Volvo plans to roll out six more new models to India.
