Mahindra-Renault, a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra and Renault, rolled out a new version of Logan, Logan Edge, in India.

The car is priced in the range of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 7.15 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) and is available in both petrol and diesel version with engine capacities ranging between 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre.

The company has launched a limited edition of this new car based on the broad scale consumer response. The Chief Operating Officer of Mahindra Renault, Mr. Nalin Mehta, defines this launch as the company’s effort to offer the best to their consumers.

The Logan is a highly fuel efficient car and the new model (Logan Edge) comes with cutting edge technology that uses enhanced fuel efficient engine, reverse parking censor and standard safety features.

The company in turn also has plans to export the Logan from India to other countries across the globe. This initiative is taken in response to the high inflation and sluggish car sale. At this stage when the entire auto industry is looking down with dismay on the piled stocks of cars, Mahindra-Renault is making an attempt to stand up in the storm and face the reality.
