Hyundai to Launch 3 new i-series Cars

The South Korean auto maker Hyundai Motor India (HMI) is all set to launch three more cars under the i-series category, after the great hit of its hatchback i10. Hyundai being the largest exporter of cars in India is going to introduce 3 new cars under the i-series class both for the domestic and overseas car market.

The three cars will be named as i20, i30 and i40. The i20 will hit the market in October while the other two variants the i30 and i40 will be launched in the coming years.

Mr. Lheem, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, said, “We plan to bring the entire portfolio of our new i-series cars to India. The premium i30 and i40 cars have a significant potential in India. These new generation cars are ideal for the fast growing Indian market. Besides, we will also strengthen the i10 portfolio with a new engine and an automatic transmission in the next few months.”
