The February month of this fiscal proved lucky for many car manufactures including Ford that reported 35 per cent growth during the month. It sold 2,636 cars in February compared to 1,956 units in January same year. Besides this, the car manufacturer also accounted 8 per cent growth in sales year-on-year.

Among its models the new Ford Ikon continues to shine in the entry level mid-size car segment. The company experienced reliable bookings for the Ikon across the country.

According to Timothy Tucker, Vice-President, Ford India-Sales, "The company set the product strategy in 2008 with the launch of new versions of the Endeavour and received good returns from Fiesta and Ikon this year". He further added, "We are committed and focusing on producing products with best value for money for our customers".
