Record March sales for Hyundai Motor

With the newly launched i10 selling like hotcakes, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has registered an impressive growth. The car maker has registered 66 per cent jump in sales in March by selling 47,001 units. The company had sold 28,239 units in the previous year during the same period.
The sales jump for Hyundai Motors is the result of increased demand for its models in both domestic and international markets. The company has registered a 52.3 per cent growth in domestic market and its exports recorded a whooping 96.9 percent growth. The car maker had registered domestic sales of 19,300 units and export of 8,939 units during the same period in the previous year.
The impressive sales is the result of increasing demand the compact i10 model. The Hyundai Motors has recently started a new plant in India to meet the growing demand in domestic and international markets.
