Ferrari to hit Indian roads by 2010

The race of International car makers to Indian car market is increasing. The legendary Italian spots car manufacturer Ferrari SpA has set a foot print to enter the Indian market in a big way by 2010.

There may be around 30 Ferraris zipping around on the Indian roads. But the Italian car manufacturer is optimistic.

Gabriele Lalli, head of Magic India Discover, Ferrari SpA told presspersons that the company is in the process of setting up sales and marketing network. The company will try to set up country wide network before 2010 as Ferrari give greater importance to customer relations.

The Fiat SpA, which owns about 85 percent stake in Ferrari, is producing Fiat Palio in Indian in a joint venture with Tata Motors. The Ferrari has a line up of five models priced between Euro 175,000 – 230,000.
