BMW, a leading luxury car manufacturer, takes national winners overseas through its Golf Cup International.

BMW announces two national winners of Première series of the BMW Golf Cup International 2008 in India, Mr. Rahul Sood and Mr. Rudratej Singh. After winning a series of competition under handicap categories in the BMW Golf Cup held at five different cities across the country. The tournament was held between 6 September and 25 October, 2008, in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi.

Rahul and Rudrajet were announced National Winners under Category A for handicaps 0-12 and Category B for handicaps 13-28, respectively at the final held at DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon, on November 8, 2008.

After being acclaimed as the national winners, these two will represent Indian for the first time in the Golf Cup International in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 1-6 December 2008. In the world finals Rahul and Rudrajet will compete against top winners from 50 countries.

Speaking on the occasion, President of BMW India, Mr. Peter Kronschnabl, said that this golf tournament exudes a blend of style, performance, and passion that truly complements the aesthetic expression and dynamic evolution of the BMW brand.
