International Cars & Motors Ltd. (ICML), the group company of Sonalika, is planning to launch a high-end SUV compliance to global standards by 2009. The company has signed a technical collaboration with Pininfarina (Italian based car design firm) for the project.

The model was displayed in the 9th Auto Expo in Delhi and has received an overwhelming response from the audience. The company has invested an amount for Rs 800 Crore for the expansion of its manufacturing capacity. The new vehicle is expected to have a dynamic body with a high performance engine.

According to Deepak Mittal Managing Director, ICML, "The Italian design firm Pininfarina has already finalised for two models that includes a seven seater SUV and a five-seater luxury car at its Italy plant.”

ICML has recently launched its upgraded version of MUV Rhino Rx. The company is also working on the concept of ‘World Car’, expected to be available by 2010, which will include SUVs and high-end luxury cars.
