After the government has announced a reduction in CENVAT by 4%, all the car manufacturers have decided to slash down the
car prices of their respective car models. Ahead of other car manufacturers, Maruti Suzuki was the first to announce a price cut in response to the lower excise duty.
Hyundai has also announced a reduction in prices of all its car models by up to Rs 44,792 with an aim to pass the benefit to its customers. The price of the
flagship model of Hyundai Santro is reduced between the range of Rs 8,834 and Rs 12,492. The winning Hyundai car,
Hyundai i10, will be cheaper by Rs 18,381 and available at a discounted price range between Rs 3.26 Lakh and Rs 5.25 Lakh.
The price of premium hatchback Getz is reduced between the range of Rs 13,413 and Rs 19,422. Likewise, even the prices of Verna and Sonata have been reduced in the range of Rs 19,625-26,174 and Rs 38,006-44,792, respectively. Hyundai Accent will also be cheaper by Rs 15,540.
