Israel Defence Forces keen to Buy Mahindra Scorpio

Israel Defence Forces (IDF) is eager to buy the flagship model of Mahindra & Mahindra, the Mahindra Scorpio.

The Mahindra Scorpio is currently undergoing testing by the IDF. Scorpio is the popular SUV, fitted with a turbo diesel engine that was developed in Europe and complies with updated EU standards.

This is not the first time that Scorpio is moving to foreign countries, the SUV has already made a great impact in some of the European countries due to its price.

The Elul Group Ltd., Mahindra’s defence vehicle division unit in Israel will organise the customary imports and will also support the car manufacturer to seek out a franchisee from local vehicle market to sell the car. Scorpio will carry the price tag of around Rs.3.2 lakh in Israel.

If every thing falls into the track, then Scorpio will be the cheapest diesel automatic off-road vehicle in the Israeli market.
