General Motors India revealed that its compact car the Chevrolet Spark has crossed three million sales globally.

Rejoicing the remarkable sales, the car manufacturer has announced special discounts on its entire range of cars in India. General Motors has announced a discount of Rs 55,000 on the Chevrolet Spark, Rs 28,000 on the Tavera, Rs 50,000 on the Aveo, Rs 30,000 on the UVA, and Rs 70,000 on the Optra Magnum.

On the occasion, the Vice President of GM India, P Balendran said, “The Spark is a hit globally and it is one of GM India’s best-selling cars in the country. The growing popularity of our Spark testifies that more customers have been reassured by the quality, economy, and performance of this best-selling car. We are confident that the award-winning Spark along with GM's other models will register higher growth volumes, month-on-month.”

Presently, General Motors India manufactures its entire range of cars in two state-of-art facilities situated at Halol in Gujarat and Talegaon in Maharashtra. The car manufacturer has various plans and strategies for grabbing higher share of the Indian car market in future.
