The sales report of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd shows a profitable remark in the third quarter of 2007. The December 2007 report reveals that the net profit increased to 24.1% at Rs 467.04 Crore, when compared to the 2006 December report of Rs 376.41 Crore. The net sales for the third quarter increased to 27.01% and the total income (net of excise) was raised to 27.23 per cent at Rs 4844.8 Crore from Rs 3807.9 Crore of 2006.

The sales figure of the vehicles sold during the quarter increases by 1,72,181; domestic sales market increased by 1,63,108 and the export market sales were raised by 9,073 according to Suzuki’s press release.

Maruti Udyog has been the leading car maker in India for decades. Its partnership with Suzuki gave birth to new technology and state-of-the-art models. They recently showcased their new models and concept cars like Splash and A-Star at the Auto Expo in Delhi, which will be rolling out this year.
