Automobile Association in India
The Indian Car market is overflowing with so many models. Every product will have a related issues and concern and in every business, it is necessary to form an association. These associations act as a source of solution to many companies under one roof. They deal with numerous crucial issues related to automobiles. Indian auto industry is widespread and it is not easy to deal or focus on auto manufacturers individually. Every auto segment is supported with associations like auto parts, auto components, cars etc.
Listed below are some of the main associations in India:
Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM)
SIAM is of the renowned automobile associations. Being the most important part of the Indian auto industry, it plays a strong communication bridge between the Indian automobile industry and the government alongside with some of the listed national and international organizations. SIAM proudly calls itself ‘Window to the Indian Automobile Industry’.
The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA)
ACMA proudly boasts with more than 365 companies holding the membership and for last 38 years has remained as the spokesman of the Indian auto component industry.
The Western India Automobile Association (WIAA)
WIAA founded on October 15, 1919 is one of the largest and the oldest motoring body with over forty-eight thousand members and a strong network of seven branches in four states of Western India.
Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA)
FADA, formed in 1964, is the first Indian Association by the car dealer community that signifies the urge of India's automobile dealer community to have their own identity and a national organization of their own.
Auto Brite India
Established in 1988, the association is known for its quality in manufacturing as well as marketing products like Alternator Slip Rings, Solenoid Switches, and Commutators over the years.
Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI)
ARAI is listed as one of the most reliable company that assures to deliver the quality of the vehicle in terms of R&D, testing, certification, homologation, and framing of vehicle regulations.
Automotive Association of Southern India (AASI)
AASI is the association for the private car owners with the assurance of the maintenance of their cars. It offers them to be its member and thus avail the lifetime services like regional transport authority vehicle, touring, road safety, and insurance.
Automobile Association of Upper India
Established in 20 September 1950, this association had the opportunity of being honoured by the first President of India, Late Rajindra Prasad. This association has a significant history in providing services to the public.
Motor and Equipments Manufacturers Association (MEMA)
In field since 1904, MEMA has been fruitfully representing and serving several motor components manufacturing companies, systems for the original equipment (OE) and other services too.
Federation of All India Automobile Spare Parts Dealers' Associations (FAIASPDA)
Founded in 1950, with the membership of associations from Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi and Chennai. It plays a vital role between the various Government bodies’ and the spare parts dealers.
National Automobile Dealers Association
Established in 1917, NADA symbolizes over more than 20,000 car and truck dealers domestically and more than 43,000 franchises internationally.
All India Car Dealers Association
Set up in 2006, the association aspires at finding solutions for car sales and purchase by offering the sellers and buyers a common platform. This multi-purpose association also deals with several other issues like dealer or any other vehicle related problems.
Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ATMA)
Formed in 1975, ATMA supports the automotive tyre industry in India. It has eight largest companies, responsible for 90% of the total production of tyres in India as its members.
Automobile Association of Eastern India
Outstandingly, known for offering its assistance in all issues related to motor vehicle division, along with various other services like car insurance, touring and many more.
