Top Five Luxury Cars of 2009

The economic meltdown has had a great impact on the car industry but only time will tell us the actual depth of pain experienced by the car manufacturers. Though the year 2009 is still half way through, some of the luxury cars have already made it to the elite top five cars lists. These cars were selected based on their supreme performance, style and features.

2009 Audi A8L

The 2009 Audi A8L made it as the topper in the list of top five luxury car because of its commendable features and performance. 2009 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 550

The all new Mercedes-Benz S-Class 550 is one of the finest models from the Merc stable. With its impressive style and features, the car shines among its rivals on the roads. Mercedes-Benz uses the new-generation V8 engine family. The car comes with a 382 bhp 5.5-litre engine which is mated to a seven-speed manual to offer the smoothest of the ride. This remarkable model is enhanced with futuristic technologies that are way ahead of its competitors. Mercedes-Benz has updated its few features in S Class 550 like cruise control which is now christened as Distronic Plus. 2009 Bentley Arnage

Bentley is another name for super luxury. This England based car maker has a reputation to roll out luxurious models. This exotic large sedan with luxurious handcrafted interior has a wide range of custom trim options. It comes with the option of two engines-6.75-litres V8 that produces 450 bhp and a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 engine with an output of 500 bhp. All the engines are mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift control. The standard features of these models include Bluetooth, navigation system, and power adjustable heated front and rear seats. The car manufacturer also offers several wheel choices as well as the colour according to the customer's choice. 2009 Hyundai Genesis
