Driving, just like any other actions has become a part of everybody’s life. Almost. It has become very important to learn driving these days as one never knows when it will come handy. There are different kinds of cars with different features and facilities; it will take time to study, and one might not get hands on to, everything of it, but one can at least learn to drive a normal car. It cannot be a tedious effort, especially for those who have seen and noticed others drive.
- The car in which anybody is learning to drive should be in a very good condition with a special emphasis on the brake, clutch and accelerator of the car. But if the car is not in a very good condition and if a service is due, then it is better that the car is taken for servicing once the learning process is over, as during the learning period, it is possible that the new driver can bring some damage to the car.
- In the initial stage of driving, choose an open ground, where there aren’t many people or much trees around, to learn driving.
- Never attempt to drive a car without anyone’s help. Either take admission in a driving institution or take help from someone who is an expert in driving.
- Get accustomed to the different car parts that you will be using while you are learning to drive.
- Always wear a seat belt when learning to drive.
- Knowing the traffic signs theoretically and practically will be an added advantage in obtaining a driver’s license. So before preparing to learn driving, know all the traffic signs.
- It is important to know the functionality of each car parts while learning to drive.
- The instructor who is teaching to drive a car should be patient and should not panic as it will deter or send wrong signals to the driver who is learning to drive.
- On getting a learners’ license, always carry it along while going for a driving class. Stick an ‘L’ board on the car, both in front of the car and behind it, so that others are aware that the driver is in the learning stage and therefore will be cautious.
- The instructor should always sit in the front seat with the driver. He shouldn’t be sitting behind and giving instructions, as this will divert the driver’s concentration. It is also important because he can help the driver drive until he gets a proper steering balance. It should be the instructor who should concentrate more than the driver because if he fails to guide the driver at the right time, it might end up in an accident.
