Santa's Sleigh Goes Hi-Fi

Santa's Sleigh Goes Hi-Fi
Christmas is a fun-filled festival celebrated by millions of people around the world. On this great occasion, thousands of children wait eagerly for Santa Claus to come and bestow them with holy gifts.

It is believed that Santa visit children riding on his sleigh in the Christmas Eve to distribute gifts and sweets. Every year Santa concerns about children and forgets that his beloved wife is waiting for him throughout the festive night. But this year Santa wants to go back to Mrs. Claus early and spend the festive night with her. To do so, Santa must think some way to complete his deliveries quickly and return to the North Pole (Santa’s home) a little faster this year.

Santa can return early to his adorable wife by modifying his sleigh with a blend of science and technology making his cart a flight jet. Sounds exciting and a little out of world. But it’s definitely interesting to imagine such a unique automobile. Let’s take a flight of an extraordinary vehicle to add more fun and merriment to the Christmas celebration.

Santa's sleigh mainly needs the kinetic energy to travel downhill, a momentum to keep moving, and an aerodynamic structure of the cart to ensure a speedy journey around the world. Keeping all this in mind, Santa's sleigh can be designed with various innovations and technologies that are used in present day cars and other automotives.

Santa's sleigh should be built with an engineering excellence to achieve the impressive exterior, progressive interior and most importantly the desired power to fly without any glitches. Some of the main components and modifications that Santa would require to complete his journey of the world faster are explained below:

Aerodynamic Structure

The cart can be redesigned with an aerodynamic structure so that he (Santa Claus) can enjoy a faster flight. All the reindeer pulling the sleigh should be positioned in the centre to pull it more efficiently. Long wingspan can be added to the reindeer that would help to achieve enhanced lift. The feet of the reindeer can be equipped with antilock brakes to facilitate a easy movement of the the cart on snow and ice reducing the chances of skidding. Reindeer's antenna can be fitted with sensors which acts as a weather tracking system that would send signals to Santa whenever an obstacle or bad weather is detected ahead in the journey. This further helps Santa to be more careful while travelling.

Impressive Exterior

The aerodynamic structure of the cart can be made more appealing with flowing angles and pointed edges. It can also be fitted with the adaptive high-beam system to aid the cart to adjust its beam in accordance to the speed, accelerations, and weather conditions. This great car technology can be fitted in association with the Intelligent Light System to ensure better illumination and clear visibility. The combination of these technologies adapt to the changing weather conditions and distribute a perfect beam pattern. Even the taillights fitted should be bright enough to have better illumination and visibility.

Cart Cabin

Cart cabin can be divided into two rows. The first row is designed for Santa with a comfortable and flexible seating, and the second row is divided into two sections, one for the toy compartment and the other for the coal compartment. Santa's seat can have armrest on both the sides with controls for the in-cart entertainment accessories.

There can be a pack of in-cart entertainments. An iPod installed in the dock would help Santa to play Christmas songs on his way and a hot chocolate dispenser near the left armrest would make him enjoy a delicious ride.

High-End Dashboard

There can be an impressive dashboard with a number of functional technologies. Front of the dashboard can be adorned with a GPS navigation system through which the elves would be able to find out all possible routes of destinations in advance. These can also be fitted with sensors to detect the activities of children across the world which in turn help Santa to fairly decide who deserves a a gift and who worth a shiny lump of coal.

Speedometer can be placed far on the right so that Santa is be able to monitor his flying speed and a fuel gauge placed below the GPS system would assist him to get a idea of fuel level in his cart. The actual fuel tank filled with carrots and sweets can be placed in the left end of the cart. It is believed that carrots is the staple diet of reindeer. A radio communicator on the extreme left of the dashboard would help Santa communicate with his beloved and get an update on toy inventory.

The impressive dashboard can even have an LCD monitor display that would continually display all the moments enjoyed with Mrs Claus captured in pictures. This would enable Santa to stay close to his love throughout his journey.

With these high-end technologies Santa's sleigh would definitely transform into a technological wonder, making him reach faster to his destination.
