Get yourself ready for Emergency Breakdown

Driving is itself associated with emergencies. When driving along darkness or on highways, there are several car emergencies that can come across. It could be brake fail, flat tyres or car breakdown. Whatever the case be, the driver should be well prepared for any kind of car emergencies. It is better to be prepared before the arrival of any kind of emergencies.
Know Your Car

If a driver is driving a car, he/she should be well addressed with the working and functioning of the car. The driver should read the owner’s manual to have a basic understanding of the car structure, working and performance.   • Always carry an emergency kit that includes water, repair tools and first aid. An emergency kit is very useful and helpful for any kind of breakdown or failure. Water is required if the engine gets too warm to start.
  • Keep the car maintained and tuned so that it can fight some minor failures.
  • Wheel alignment, regular changing of engine oil and checking brake oil is a must for driving.
  • Try to pull the car to the right end of the road. Don’t block the on-road traffic as it may cause an car accident.
  • Open the door and get out only when the road is clear and it’s safe to move out.
  • Put on the head lights and emergency light to warn other drivers of the car breakdown.
  • Raise the car hood and try to get assistance from the ongoing traffic.

  • Park the car safely with the hand gear up.
