Top Seven Costly Cars that will come to India in Future

The Indian car industry is booming like never before. There are more and more models that are coming to the country in the next few years. It is not surprising to see new models coming up in the Indian car market every other day as it is simply a depiction of the growing demand for the cars in the Indian market. The most important factor that is driving such huge number of car sales in the country is that when the global car industry was adversely affected by the economic slowdown, Indian car industry was still going strong. The fall of the American car industry has also to some extent helped the Indian car market. And now India is among the major car market of the world, with even the American car lover opting for Indian cars. Together with its increase in exports, which is now higher than that of the China, the domestic market of the country is also facing massive changes with the complete change of car trends. A recent study conducted shows how in spite of the financial crisis or job lose the Indian car lovers are still fascinated about luxury cars. The future of Indian cars seems to be very costly. Below given are some among the most costly cars that will be launched in India within the new two years.
1. Lamborghini Gallardo LP-560-4: The LP 560-4 is an exuberant sports machine from Lamborghini. The LP 560-4 will be synonym for high class engineering. It is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 Petrol engine that has a 6-speed manual transmission. Lamborghini will not only be launching LP 560-4 but it is expected to launch the entire range of its cars. The LP 560-4 is no child’s play, it carries a very high price tag and Rs. 2.5 crore is the approximate pricing of the car in India. And this makes the car one among the most expensive cars that will be launched in India.

2. Jaguar XK: The Jaguar XK is also expected to hit the Indian roads very soon. This sports car is a well expected guest to the Indian car market also because Jaguar is now a part of Indian auto major, Tata Motors. Powered by a 5.0 V8 petrol engine and having a stunning facet the XK will the first sports car in India from Jaguar. The car will be priced between Rs 90 and 125 lakh.

3. Nissan GT-R: This is just not another car from Nissan, but it has the most astounding features. The car is available in a 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 petrol engine and a 6-speed twin clutch gear box. The GT-R offers a four wheel drive, has carbon ceramic brakes and dynamics that can even outpace a 911. The car is expected to hit the Indian roads by late 2009 or early 2010. And the most expensive part, the pricing of the car is on the higher end and it is expected to price around Rs 1 crore. But all the sophisticated and high-tech features, the car seems to be worth the price.

4. Porsche Panamera: The Panamera is a four-door four seater with a hatchback tail gate reminding us of its Porsche lineage. With the classy and sophisticated interiors that has been designed to perfection for better comfort and convenience. The engine option of the Panamera is a 3.6-litre V6 petrol. It is not still certain whether there will be any specific features for the Indian version of the car. The car will be anyway priced from Rs 1 to Rs 1.5 crore.

5. Audi A5: Audi, making use of the design cues from A4 and A6 will be launching its A5 here in India. With the best build quality of the segment the Audi A5 is a style statement in itself. This sports tourer will be available in the engine options of 2.0-litre and 3.2-litre petrol and 2.0-litre, 2.7-litre, and 3.2-litre diesel. The Audi A5 will have an all new steering gear, a new suspension system, and a Quattro system with a rearward torque. It will be imported to India as a CBU and the expected price of the A5 is Rs 60 lakh.

6. Mercedes-Benz GL Class: The Benz, GL Class, that is doing exceptionally well in the global market and will be seen in the Indian market too. Build on the unibody architecture of ML-class the Benz GL-Class will have a more seating space and a longer body. The engine options will range from a 3.0-litre V6 diesel to a 5.5-litre V8 petrol. The pricing of Merc GL-Class will range from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 90 lakh.

7. Nissan 370Z: The 370Z from Nissan will be an evolved model of 350Z. It is a contemporary model, which is wider and shorter than its predecessor. It will have a 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine, which produces 326bhp and a 365 Nm of torque. The car will make its Indian appearance either by the end of 2009 or early 2010. The pricing, compared to the other models that are been listed is slightly on the lower end, is approximately Rs 40 lakh.
