MDI or Motor Development International is a French-based company founded in 1991 by Guy Negre. The founder of the company is a known inventor of air cars and is continuously designing various compressed
air car prototypes marketed under the title “The Air Car”.
Guy Negre is a former aeronautics and Formula One race car engineer who has been working diligently with his son, Cyril, an engineer with Bugatti, along with a number of other skilled engineers to bring the Compressed Air Technology (CAT) to market. The primary aim of the MDI was to promote and develop ecological energies and produce non-pollutant vehicles.
Starting from its day of establishment till today MDI is continuously doing research and studies on the concept to prove the reliability of air cars. From the past 20 years MDI is hunting for innovative technologies and making significant modifications to bring the real air cars to the global car market. Finally, MDI has reached the zenith of success through its innovations and technologies and is all set to introduce its fleet of air cars very soon.
Earlier the term ‘CATS’ was designated to name the air cars introduced by MDI. Later on, a new name “FlowAir” was selected to identify MDI’s unique technology. The term “FlowAir” literally means ‘Flower’ in French and is evocative of company’s logo as well as the ecological mind set. Henceforth, all the air cars are suffixed with the term “FlowAir”.
