bullet Audi Locus

Audi LocusDesigned by Ugur Sahin, the Audi Locus Concept is a sporty coupe that takes on a raw design language made of flowing curves. The name of the concept itself reflects the concept of curve: in Mathematics, Locus is a collection of points, which share a common property, usually forming a continuous figure such as a curve. A curved sharp edged line starts at the very front of the Audi Locus, flowing through the middle section, slightly bending down after the A pillar and then rising up again at the rear wheel arches to follow its way back until the diffuser.

bullet Peugeot e-Motion

Peugeot e-MotionA unique mishmash of concave and convex surfaces surrounds the whole front and ends in the door silhouettes. This wonder, called the Peugeot e-Motion, is an electric-powered sportscar. A sharp crease line flowing beautifully from the headlights, into the doors and continuing in the rear lights accentuates this car's beauty. The headlights, rear lights and the rims simply melt into the body making the whole car look like a single sculpted volume.

bullet Lamborghini Concept S

Lamborghini Concept SLamborghini Concept S is a concept car designed by Luc Donckerwolke, the head of Lamborghini design, using the Lamborghini Gallardo's floorplan. Unveiled at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, the Concept S was intended to be a modern interpretation of the single-seat roadsters of the past and is based on the Gallardo Spyder chassis with a modified bonnet, engine cover and bumpers. It looks more like two wingless fighter jets strapped side by side. The car is powered by the Lamborghini 5.0 litre V-10 used in the Lamborghini Gallardo Coupé.

bullet Mazda Taiki

Mazda TaikiMazda Taiki was revealed at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show in October 2007. The Taiki uses a front engine, rear-wheel drive layout and is powered by Mazda's next generation RENESIS rotary 16X engine, which is mated to a 7-speed, double-clutch gearbox. The design visually expresses the atmosphere, called 'taiki' in Japanese, which wraps the Earth in its protective mantle. The concept changes the flow theme to establish a breathtaking presence. The Taiki has scissor doors and a very impressive drag coefficient of 0.25. Even the wheels and tires were designed with aerodynamics in mind. The interior colours are inspired by Yin and Yang. The driver's side of the cabin is black, while the passenger side is white.

bullet BMW ZX-6

BMW ZX-6BMW ZX-6 concept is one of the final projects of the Transportation Design students at Turin-based IED, which was developed in partnership with BMW with the goal of creating a car for 2015. With looks of a toy car, it is hard to imagine this car running on the road. It is provocative in shape and cleverly integrates trademark BMW scallops with an interesting new way for doors to operate. The students drew inspiration from natural elements and created a car that expressed a futuristic vision while keeping the BMW signature streamlines alive in the functioning as well as the profile of the car's exterior.

bullet Toyota 4WingX

Toyota 4WingXToyota 4WingX was one of the ten design proposals idealized and presented by students of the Transportation Design Course of IED Turin which makes use of the same hybrid power technology found in the Toyota Prius but provides a unique style and shape. Also, inspired by nature, the 4WingX is an evolution in the use of Hybrid Synergy Drive, combining the use of innovative natural energy sources like the sun, wind and vibration. Another fundamental innovation of the 4WingX is the extraordinary construction of the frame designed as a very light but resisting "Moebius" ribbon forming an X-structure. The same design philosophy employed for the exterior has been used for the interior, which also takes inspiration from nature.

bullet Mazda Nagare

Mazda NagareThe Mazda Nagare concept car was introduced at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. This car was taken as an exercise in natural and organic car design to explore the future of Mazda automobiles. The name Nagare translates into English as "flow" and the designers specifically studied motion and the effect it has on natural surroundings when creating this vehicle. It was designed by Laurens van den Acker, Mazda's global design director, and his advanced design studio team in Irvine, California. As head of the international Nagare design team, Lauren's main task from Mazda was to design first and engineering later.

bullet Audi O

Audi OThe Audi O was designed to create a blend of a powerful and innovative audio system with a stylish and sporty four-seat hatchback. The exteriors carry classically Audi styling themes. The interiors are bright and spacious, thanks to a full length panoramic roof. Inside, the passenger compartment has been separated from the engine compartment by a double firewall to help keep out external noise which might interfere with the powerful sound system. This Audi car features a unique audio system which has internet connectivity for downloading music onto the built-in 650 GB hard drive. When parked, a Bluetooth system can connect two or more Audi O cars to play audio over a wider area. The Audi O also features a pullout rear door fitted with a DJ set with mixing decks.

BMW SnugThe Snug can be perceived a concept which has a strong urge to create a sense of community. It was created to be a simple, fun object, designed for people who appreciate personal relationships, people who are different from the others, in their opinions and in their feelings. The Snug concept has also been described as a car which tries to recover the values which are otherwise slowly vanishing in our world. Developed in collaboration with the BMW Group, the Snug is a four seater, designed to use fuel cell technology. As far as design is concerned, the car is evocative of the Japanese art of origami based on paper waves covering a central cell.

bullet Lexus LF-A Roadster

Lexus LF-A RoadsterThe LF-A is a 2-door exotic concept car built as a prospective halo car for the Lexus division. Integrating the simple elegance of the new Lexus design initiative with racing, inspired style, sculpted curves and fluid lines make a dynamic statement. The LF-A Roadster is based on the LF-A coupe and is powered by a high-revving 5.0-litre V10 engine that produces over 493 bhp and is capable of test-track speeds greater than 322 km/h! The rear is marked by a pair of wrap-around, arrowhead-shaped taillights that bracket a pair of large grilles.
