Spada Codatronca
The bizarrely styled Spada Codatronca was styled by Italian design house Spadaconcept, and is built by another Italian company, UK Garage. The design of the Spada Codatronca was influenced by the styling of the 1965 Alfa Romeo TZ, it also featured a high centre spine running to the rear of the car, the feature was called the "Kamm tail coda tronca" design - hence the new cars name. One of the most unusual features of the Spada Codatronca, apart from the styling, is the addition of a digital readout positioned in the centre of the rear spine for all following motorists to see. The base for the 2007 Spada Codatronca is the
Chevrolet Corvette, UK garage perform the transformation and fit the Codatronca with three differing power plants. A 512 hp TS "Sport Tourism" model, a 513 hp version in the TSV "Fast Sport Tourism", and a monstrous 700 hp version in the TSS "Super Sport Tourism".
DC Design Rolls-Royce Coupe
This is the DC Design Rolls-Royce Coupe, exclusively by the Indian design house of DC Design owned by
Dilip Chhabria. Official details on this car is scarce, but we believe the car is based on the original RR Silver Spirit saloon and created for an owner whose design brief was to build a
Rolls Royce that would shock anyone who looked at it. The exterior has obviously been heavily modified with an eye to Nissan's 350z, but it also looks like the interior has undergone cosmetic surgery.
Castagna Aznom
Using the Corvette Z06's steel chassis, Castagna dressed the Aznom with an exterior body made from carbon fibre with magnesium and aluminium structural components also used in the coachwork process to help reduce overall weight to 1400 kg. Further weight savings and aerodynamic efficiency come from a composite-material 'flat bottom', while there are smaller overall details such as the carbon-shelled rear view mirrors mounted on perpendicular posts. According to Carrozzeria Castanga the Aznom is fitted with a supped up version of the Corvette Z06's 7.0-litre aluminium V8 engine lifting power from 505 Hp, to an immense 750 Hp at 6,200 rpm while maximum torque has hiked to 980 Nm at 3,800 rpm. The Aznom's top speed is a claimed 350 km/h (218 mph) while 0-100 km/h (62mph) is reached in 3.4 sec.
Callaway C16
Callaway, the Connecticut-based Corvette tuner par excellence built a new, more powerful supercharger for its super-Vette, the C16. The new spool increases output of the hand-built LS3 engine from 616 to 650 hp. It's also fitted with new cylinder heads and valvetrain, a custom cold-air intake, special free-flowing exhaust system and remapped ECU, in addition to the carbon-ceramic brakes, suspension and wheels. Callaway offers the C16 with its custom bodywork and leather interior in coupe and convertible forms for about $150k, or double that for the stunning Speedster. The extra 34 harnessed horses should help the updated C16 break its already-impressive 3.3-second 0-60 time, 11-second ¼ mile and 210 mph top end.
TVR Sagaris
The TVR Sagaris is a sports car designed and built by the British manufacturer TVR in their factory in Lancashire. Based on the TVR T350, the Sagaris was designed with endurance racing in mind. This beast had a TVR Speed Six Straight-6 engine, with a displacement of 3996 cc and a maximum power output of 380 bhp @ 7,000-7,500 rpm. This car had a five-speed
manual transmission and had a top speed of 298 kmph and could do a 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.
