The Welsh designer Lovegrove presents a solar-powered hybrid concept car for the future. The out-of-the-ordinary feature of this car is not really the bubble-type hood or the lustrous wheel design. The car contains 1,000 sharp solar panels with Swarovski crystals entrenched in each of them. Except for these extremely pricey Swarovski crystals, the green concept of making use of the alternate energy source as well as the design is simply spick and span.

The price is unknown but will surely not stop those infatuated with gold cars with a diamond trim.

For those who think that Bentley cars do not really match your lifestyle, this Bentley will surprise you. Bentley's gold version from ASI, the Japanese tuner features hand-painted original Japanese art by Nakamura Tetsuei. The GT Speed images on the ASI Bentley Continental GTR Gold display ASI's standard GT body kit with a dry carbon bonnet, trunk, rear wing and a 3-piece forged wheel. The car has a 6 litre W12 engine that can churn out 800bhp of power. Just 29 units have been manufactured.

After the gold-plated and diamond-studded automobiles comes the car garnished with ivory. Su Zhongyang, the folk art master has created the magnum opus. 99 dragons made of ivory embellish the 4.5 metre long, 1.81 metre wide and 1.9 metre high car. The weight of the car, 2 tons. Not just ivory, the car has been adorned with yak bone, gold and diamonds too. The price of the incredible car is incredible too.

When you have a flashy, glitzy, diamond covered Mercedes SL Class you are sure going to halt the traffic. The SL legend began over 50 years ago and to celebrate 50 years the limited edition Mercedes-Benz SL550 was announced. Coming back to the diamond covered Mercedes SL it was on display in an overseas auto show. Are the diamonds real? Not sure. But the ultra-shiny, swanky car sure looks superb. Any takers?
