The interior is far more attractive than the exterior. Honda has redesigned the dashboard and made it multilayered which flows down to the door pads. The steering wheel has been given metal spokes and the shifter with a chrome head makes a
luxury statement. The V- shape centre console has been retained but with a new feel. The gauges and dials have been placed slightly higher, so that the driver can get a quick glimpse of it while driving.
The air conditioning and air vents have been given several options. Ample storage space is provided at every available corner in the cabin. The door locks have been re-located into the hollows of door handles. The highlight of the Accord is its large cabin space. It provides comfortable seating for five large adults. The front sets have been given the lumbar support option. The rear seats are comfortable and make the car owner feel like a king. The seating position has been lowered by an inch and makes it comfortable for thigh support.
The new Accord is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine. The new engine uses Honda’s famous i-VTEC technology that churns out 268 bhp. The V6 has been improved with the Variable Cylinder Management (VCM). The motor is smoother with improved fuel flow. It is paired with the 5-speed automatic gear box and comes with a 70-litre tank space.
The new Accord is available with a price tag of Rs 24 Lakh. Honda has made sure that the new Accord is packed with more quality and features.
