The 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show is over but the cars that were showcased in the show are still young in our minds. The car manufacturers from across the globe were enthusiastic in showing off their talents and toils. Some of them are concept cars while some others are planning to go into production.These cars of the future are showing us the glimpses of the things to invade the car markets in the near future.
These Mentioned here are the 7 gorgeous cars that was unveiled in the Frankfurt Motor Show.

bullet  Aston Martin Rapide

Aston Martin RapideThe Aston Martin Rapide was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a production-ready model. The Rapide is a four-door sports car that is is powered by a hand-built 6.0-liter V12 engine and is mated with a 6-speed transmission Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission with paddle shifters. This four seater sedan has the most modern interior and exterior features with all the safety and comfort features. Another peculiarity of the car is the swan doors, which give easy access to the rear compartment of the car. This car is tailor made for James Bond if he is planning to start a family. The car is expected to be available in the early 2010.

bullet  2011 Rolls Royce Ghost

2011 Rolls Royce GhostThe RR ghost is powered by a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V12 engine. The Ghost is a fifth-generation Phantom designed by the Ian Cameron and engineered by Helmut Riedl. This small ultra-luxury car sedan has an intelligent air suspension system. The features on the production model are four-zone automatic climate control, individual perforated-leather lounge seating with cooling and massage functions, a lane-departure warning system, a head-up display, a 600-watt 16-speaker audio system and rear, front-side and top-view cameras, a choice of 20-inch wheels and tires and many more. It is expected to be launched in the Indian markets towards the end of 2010.

Volkswagen BlueMotion FamilyThe Volkswagen BlueMotion family includes the VW Polo BlueMotion, Passat BlueMotion, and Golf BlueMotion. These three cars from the Volkswagen stable are eco-friendly cars. And they emit considerably very low level of carbon dioxiode. Both the Polo BlueMotion and Golf BlueMotion have got a new engine while the Passat BlueMotion will still have the same engine. The new engines of Polo BlueMotion and Golf BlueMotion are 1.2-liter three-cylinder common-rail diesel, which has a five-speed gearbox and 1.6-liter four-cylinder common-rail diesel, respectively. The new exterior features of the BlueMotion models are designed specifically to improve airflow and enhance fuel economy. And the new features include new front bumpers, lower ride height, sill extensions, and repositioned air ducts. All the BlueMotion models will be available for sale in Europe from the early 2010.

Reva NXRThese two electronic car models, NXR and NXG, marked the Indian presence in the 2009 Frankfurt Motor show. The first model that was showcased by the Reva Electric Car Company was NXR. NXR is a powered by lithium-ion and seats four. This hatchback will be a complete family car that will best suite the urban life conditions. The car is price at the higher end. The lithium ion intercity version of NXR will have a price tag of Rs.10.49 lakh in the Europe. The price is not inclusive of the batteries. Reva NXGThe acid batteries option of the NXR is available at Rs.6.99 lakh. The production of the model will begin in 2010. The other model NXG is a sporty two seater and will be priced at Rs. 16.1 lakh, excluding the batteries. Reva will start producing NXG from 2011. The exclusive recharge systems such as the invisible reserve fuel tank developed by Reva, REVive, and the customer telephones or SMSes RECC for an instant remote recharge were also showcased.

bullet 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo

2010 Porsche 911 TurboThe facelifted Porsche Turbo 911 was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car is now faster, lighter, and powerful than ever before. The 911 now has a twin-turbo 3.6-litre engine, but the new 911 will have a direct injection 3.8-litre engine. The new 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo gallops from zero to 60 mph in less than 3.4 seconds. The car also has the option of three-spoke steering wheel that comes with gearshift paddles and Porsche Torque Vectoring. The new 911 is an eco-friendly car, which emits less of carbon dioxide, and uses less fuel.

Mini Roadster ConceptThe Mini Roadster is a two-seater that has a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine very similar to the Mini Cooper S. The Mini Roadster concept has a high "waistline", low-slung windscreen, and a low overall stance. The exterior of the Roadster has a black stripe around the bottom of the body which creates a compact appearance for the car. The interiors of the Roadster has a lounge leather padded seats with piping and three-spoke leather sport steering wheel, wood trim. Mini's center speedo is located in the upper part of the slim center console, and the rev counter is located directly behind the steering wheel next to a multifunction.

bullet Audi 2010 R8 Spyder

Audi 2010 R8 SpyderThe Audi R8 Spyder is spotted with a new look. It now has a new drop top. The R8 Spyder is extremely powerful now with 5.2-liter direct-injection V10 engine. The minor changes in the R8 Spyder include special UV-reflecting leather upholstery and extra storage compartments behind the seats. It will also be available with aluminum door sills with black-satin trim and a new seatbelt-mounted microphone system, which allows the driver to talk on the telephone with the top down.
