Cars and Sound of Music
Music is a great stress buster. People love to indulge themselves to their favourite track all the time whether they are at home, office or in their car. Listening to music in cars is not only a door way to a stressful drive but also imparts a soothing effect on driver’s mind. Thanks to the Indian traffic that makes car driving a hassle. But music is a good way to relax while driving to reach a distant destination. There are various brands available in the Indian market that provides number of car audio systems. They vary from basic models to hi-end systems.
However, one should think twice before purchasing a music system for the car as there is a possibility of getting a wrong one with plethora of models available in the market. Give the most priority to the sound quality and purity of the audio system.
We always get a manual with every product that guides us on the technical specifications but some times even the manual does not come in handy when technical glitches arises, so it is also good to opt for well known brand. Many of the car audio head units are enhanced with completely integrated equalizers but there are only few, who actually make use of these features. The reason is sophisticated interfaces that requires a lot of time to understand the function. Some of the systems carry several convenient pre-selected controls, which are not very effective.
You can set your own system according to your like following basic ground rules. It needs a little knowledge of equalizer, as how every band is split and every channel sounds. To do this you have to increase the output of the channel, bringing down the volume to mute. This will help you to concentrate, identify and to set the right sound track. This procedure has to be done in slow pace and one at a time.
Generally, the equalizer split from left to right from bass to treble and the central slider has one kilohertz value that influence the voice in general. In an equalizer, the treble functions are located on the right hand side and the bass functions on the left hand side.
Now you have to recognize few basic settings. First, position all the sliders in the centre to deliver a flat sound and adjust in ‘V’ for coloured or bass and treble for heavy sound, and for mid-range heavy sound place the slider in an ‘A’. The bass, mid-range, treble values can be set individually and then clubbed. But sometimes will not be much affective, as it has to be fine tuned to get the right kind of music.
Many may not take the initiative to set up their own equalizer settings, as it is a little mind-numbing process. But remember spending a little time can improve the quality significantly.
