This security system operates on the GSM Technology of Cellular Mobile Communication System. It can also operate with a CDMA network; however, a GSM network is preferred for effective and efficient functioning of this security system. This device sends a Short Message through SMS to the registered user when there is any event or intrusion to the user’s vehicle. On receiving such a Short Message, the registered user initiates actions for control through SMS commands given in a prescribed format in the user's manual.
